In this topsy turvey world I tend to be either up on an emotional high or down in the dumps. This blog is for both of those moods, and all the mediocre moments inbetween…

My inspiration comes from Welsh sunrises (see photo above, Tenby’s North beach at approx. 6am), hilltop countryside views, wise friends and family around me, hot soapy power showers, beautiful poetic literature, my own bizarre sleeping subconscious and my Heavenly Father.

Some Welsh words of wisdom for the road:

A fo ben, bid bont.

= “To be a leader you must be a bridge”

Cenedl heb iaith yw cenedl heb galon.

= “A nation without a language is a nation without a heart.”

Deuparth gwaith yw ei ddechrau.

= “Starting the work is two thirds of it.”

Dywed yn dda am dy gyfaill, am dy elyn dywed ddim.

= “Speak well of your friend; of your enemy say nothing.”

Heb ei fai, heb ei eni.

= “He who has no faults is not born.”

Gall pechod mawr ddyfod trwy ddrws bychan.

= “A great sin can enter by a small door.”

Teg yw edrych tuag adref.

= “It is good to look homewards.”
